When designing the Avenir NEXT Type Anatomy booklet, I wanted the user to dive into the history of the Avenir typeface. I believe that you have to understand the origin of the typeface before you can effectively use it in design when trying to convey a message. I designed this booklet to be able to visually see the raw beauty of this typeface, but also be inspired by the creative design pieces throughout the booklet.
